About € 10 per person for a Boat ride from Positano to Amalfi (weather conditions permitting)

Simply the best you can take if you have never been in the Bay of Naples before. This tour

includes two of the most famous sites in the Bay: the excavations of the ancient roman town of

Pompeii, buried under 20 feet of ashes during the main eruption of Mount Vesuvius and the scenic drive along the Amalfi Coast, both listed among UNESCO sites. You cannot miss this!

We will drive to Positano first. Positano is fashionable and coluorful with its art galleries and

clothing stores. In winter time is extremely quite but still very attractive. If the sea is calm and the weather is nice, it would be nice to take a boat (shared) to reach Amalfi. Otherwise we will continue by minivan.

Features

Amalfi is the most historical and lively one, with the imposive Cathedral of St Andrew, where the relics of the apostle are kept.

The road itself is pure Mediterranean beauty: steep cliffs, blue sea, some luxurious villas grabbing to the rocks and this incredible narrow road stretching along the coast. Anywhere on the Coast you can stop to taste the local lemon liquor called “limoncello”, or to see how the produce the so-called “ceramics of Vietri”.

Of course many options for an exqisite italian meal if requested.

Once at Pompeii we will start our walking tour which will last approximately two hours: we will visit the Forum, the Baths, a public market, a private house. Also we shall visit the theatre and see some ancient stores.
